We believe through sports young kids can develop self confidence, mature socially, develop their physically abilities and learn life skills while having fun and learning the great game of baseball. At the age of 10 kids should explore other opportunities in addition to baseball so that they can determine where their interest are best suited. Baseball should not be their entire life.
We will teach the kids sportsmanship and how to learn to except results. We will never be satisfied with losing but baseball is a game of failure and it is important to learn to accept the results of any given day and move on. Failure should not be allowed to overcome them.
Team chemistry and friendship will be important elements of our program. Family support will be critical. We want a family atmosphere where the kids can develop close relationships not just during baseball.
I will have 2 very qualified assistant coaches and at times we will bring in special coaches to work with pitchers and catchers. In the offseason we will work more one on one to address specific issues.
