Program

During our 1st year as 10’s we encourage all of the kids to participate in other sports and activities. We believe at 10 you are not ready to make Baseball your full time activity. So we will work around any conflicts. During this year we will focus on fundamentals and proper techniques in throwing, hitting and fielding. We expect to participate in 4-5 tournaments and will wok in the off season. Our goals this year is team chemistry and much improved fundamental skills. The kids will learn multiple positions.

During our 2nd year as 11’s we will become a little more intense with the goal of becoming a competitive team. We expect to play in 6-8 tournaments with a couple of out of town, probably Baton Rouge. Our off season work outs will increase as we prepare for year 3.

Our 3rd year as 12’s will focus on a much higher level of play with tournaments in both AA and AAA.. We want to compete at a higher level as we prepare for more competitive tournaments and Cooperstown.

Cost: 1st year is $250 per player. This includes uniforms, practice jerseys and shorts and tournament fees. The 2nd and 3rd year will be similar but may increase a little depending on how many tournaments we play in. Financial assistance is available.

Cooperstown: More inf on this later but we expect to raise all of the funds including airfare through fundraisers.
